You complete the setup doc at your own pace. I configure your Sharetribe test site based on your inputs, asking follow-up questions as needed. Once the initial setup is done you'll review everything and request any changes.
Go live & complete final steps

How much do you charge for Sharetribe configuration?
I charge a fixed price for Sharetribe configuration projects. Depending on the scope and complexity of your requirements, costs typically range from £1,500 to £4,000.
How long do configuration projects take?
The typical length of a Sharetribe configuration project is 2–3 weeks, which means you can go live super fast.
The exact speed depends on how quickly you can provide me with the information I need to configure your marketplace — things like copy for your homepage, the question set for creating a listing and your marketplace logo. I'll send you a pre-work document before we get started so you know exactly what I need from you.
When can we get started?
We can kick off your project as soon as you've signed a contract and paid the first invoice (unless we agree a different date). I'll usually have something ready for you to review within 2–4 working days.

I've been lucky enough to work with founders across a wide range of industries — home improvement, health and fitness, education, consulting, child care, travel, photography, music, food and sustainability, to name a few.
Can you provide custom designs for my Sharetribe marketplace?
Yes, absolutely. I've helped plenty of clients go beyond the no-code version of their marketplace.
For example, clients often ask me to design pages and features that require additional code to build — such as a reverse marketplace or price negotiations between buyers and sellers. Other clients want to move away from the default Sharetribe "look and feel" entirely, with bespoke designs that match the personality of their brand.

What's expected of me during the project?
To kick off the project I'll send you a pre-work document detailing exactly what I need from you. This includes things like copy for the main pages of your website, the questions you want to ask people when they create a listing (form fields), your marketplace logo and any social media links you have.
How do you work with clients in different time zones?
From Hawaii to Sydney and everywhere in between, I love working with clients all around the world and I pride myself on being able to work effectively asynchronously.
I use the time difference to my advantage — it works especially well with clients in America. I can work while you're asleep, so when you wake up you'll have a full day to review my designs and send me feedback. The next morning my time, I jump straight into any iterations. If we need to jump on a call, we'll find a time that works for us both.
Once the project is complete, can I work with you again?
Of course. While most clients start working with me at the idea stage, many return further down the line as they build traction and gain valuable feedback from their customers and suppliers. I have a number of long-standing clients who hire me for short-term, ad-hoc projects as and when they need me.
